We received a bottle of Olive Leaf Infusion in the office and we gave it to Nikki (@NikkiFitBunny) to try, Nikki is an eat clean addict, she loves to balance her diet with clean good nutrients and she was excited to try this energising supplement
Claimed to be energising, purifying and immune system boosting.
A Lot of people get very excited about protein, it's a necessary supplement when training hard and wanting to get results but what is a good protein? For me, it's about taste, to be honest a protein powder is a protein powder. Now that's not what a manufacture is going to want to hear but it's true, especially when looking at just 'Whey Protein Powders' which generally have little else added to them. Therefore in reality, it's all about taste, texture and how easy it is to mix.
To be fair, Maximuscle have sent me the best flavor, i'm not sure if they were trying to win me over before i'd opened it, but it worked. What's not to like about a chocolate flavored shake (protein or no protein)Add a comment
2under gave us a pair of Men's Underwear to test and we gave it to Daniel Jeal, one of our Male Mobile Personal Trainers to put them through thier paces. Personal Trainers are on the move often before the sun rises to long after it sets, there moving equipment, exercising, walking, running so what better way to test a pair of boxer shorts. A busy personal trainer could really benefit from performance underwear, read on to see how the 2under GearShift Trunk performed. Here is what Dan thought of the 2 Under Gear Shift Trunks we were given to test.Add a comment
A popular concern amongst women, the Muffin Top. What an affectionate name, well, they say visualisation is everything so it’s quite apt really. We've put together this Muffin Top workout to help you melt away the fat, it will take some work and you'll need to make appropriate changes to diet and activity levels, if you have not already. This workout has been put together using just a matt and a pair of dumbbells, however the dumbbells are not essential. This workout should take about 30 minutes.Add a comment
You would have done well not to have heard of the infamous 300 workout, many websites have submitted their claims to the workout and many have even charged for the privilege.
Every fitness site on the web has a take on the 300 workout, the so called workout that the actors from the movie 300 undertook to get into shape and get that 300 physique. It would be nice to think that these actors undertook the workout 'X' times per week and this was the only workout they used to achieve their classic physique. However, this is unlikely due to the size of the workout, the workout is hard and it would be ineffective and near impossible to perform this on a regular basis. It's called the 300 workout as that is the total amount of reps that are performed during the entire workout. All these exercise and reps are performed consecutively with little or no rest, a massive super-set if you like or a large circuit with no rest, either way it sounds tough.Add a comment
